All mate- rial assets and the entire business opera- tions of the mechanical engineering company have been transferred to the Chinese investor. On January 1st, 2024, the new company – Kautex Maschinen- bau System GmbH – took over all duties of the old company. “With Jwell as new strong partner aside from Kautex Maschinenbau System GmbH, we have a bright future ahead. Jwell is a strategic fit for us. They have a strong background in plastics machinery manu- facturing. They have the financial capabi- lities to complete Kautex transformation and they are committed to even increase our local manufacturing and service foot- print with the target of creating the world market leader within the extrusion blow molding business”, states Thomas Hart- kämper, CEO of the Kautex Group. Jwell took over 50% of employees of Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH in Bonn, 100% of employees in the other entities, and intends to keep on focusing on ma- nufacturing production solutions at the Bonn site, which remains the headquar- ter with focus on manufacturing, R&D and service. Also, Kautex Maschinenbau GmbH in Bonn will be the third oversea production base of Jwell.
