35 Extrusion International 3/2022 New CEO in North America  Diego Areces has been the new CEO of Baumueller-Nuermont Corp (BNC), the North American subsid- iary of the Baumüller Group with headquarters in Norcross near At- lanta (USA) and other locations in Chicago (USA), Toronto (Canada) and Querétaro (Mexico), since 1 April 2024. Areces has many years of experience in drive and automa- tion technology and has been with the company since May 2023. He succeeds long-serving CEO Brad Fowler, who has retired after a total of 23 years at BNC. BNC was founded in 1987 and has a strong customer base in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The company focuses on intelligent system solu- tions for electrical drive and au- tomation technology for machine manufacturers in the converting, printing, packaging, energy, plas- tics, metal processing and recycling sectors, among others. BNC also offers a comprehensive range of after-sales services and industrial relocations and installations.
