Our extrusion division operates under the same stringent quality standards re- quired by our government contracts in our Defense division. Guill’s multi-layer designs and high-precision manufactur- ing are probably the best in the world. If someone in North America wants to create a 7-layer product, we know the die will most likely be designed by us. As already mentioned, because of the quality standards required by the US Go- vernment in our Defense division, our ex- trusion tooling division is capable of holding some of the tightest tolerances in the industry. This is particularly true for products used in the aerospace and me- dical device industries. As a result, our tooling often comes at a premium. But, many manufacturers are willing to pay more for a higher quality die that will en- sure the best final product.
