CHINAPLAS 2026 Concludes Successfully with 350,189 Visitors After Four Dynamic Days
CHINAPLAS 2026 concluded successfully on April 24 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), Hongqiao, Shanghai, after four dynamic days of innovation, exchange and collaboration. The exhibition welcomed a total of 350,189 visitors, marking a 24.53% increase compared with the 2025 edition held in Shenzhen.
Visitor attendance remained strong throughout the show. Day 1 recorded 107,792 visitors, followed by 125,448 on Day 2, 86,504 on Day 3, and 30,445 on the final day.
The exhibition also saw strong participation from overseas, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. Their total number reached 86,440, accounting for 24.68% of all visitors and representing a 26.11% increase compared with the 2025 edition.
The daily figures were 24,049 on Day 1, 29,130 on Day 2, 23,342 on Day 3, and 9,919 on Day 4.
Throughout the event, visitors engaged with global suppliers and took part in a wide range of concurrent events. On Day 3, the Applications in Focus forums brought together end users and suppliers to discuss collaborative solutions for automotive, medical, packaging, and eco-friendly applications. The show floor remained dynamic throughout the day, with active business conversations across the halls. The Smart Molding Forum also attracted strong attention, generating lively discussions on AI upgrades, automation, and sustainable development in plastics processing. Visitors also explored the Product Innovation Gallery, attended the final sessions of Tech Talk, and continued networking throughout the venue.
The final day featured Day 4 Trend Insights, including three morning forums focusing on plastic aesthetics (CMF trends), core technologies in emerging industries such as humanoid robots and the low-altitude economy, and new technologies in different scenarios. The Day 4 program also included an exclusive factory tour.

Another featured event was the Development Day for Campus Elites, a long-running part of CHINAPLAS that connects promising young talent with industry enterprises and leaders. The program highlights the next generation of professionals in the plastics and rubber industries and supports talent recruitment and matching between top graduates and companies.
Visitors also attended the final sessions of other forums and continued networking across the exhibition halls until the close of the show.
