Under the motto “Sustainable Solutions. Strong Connections”, ALBIS will showcase a wide range of technical plastic solutions and sustainable materials at K 2025.
The chosen motto reflects ALBIS’s core strengths: a strong global network of leading manufacturers, a comprehensive and sustainable product portfolio, an international team of technical service experts, and continued global expansion. Recent milestones include a partnership with Arkema in the field of High Performance Polymers for medical applications, expanded distribution rights for BASF, INEOS Styrolution and Röhm, and new locations: following the expansion of activities in Morocco for North Africa and the market entry in Israel, ALBIS is now also active in Latin America through a majority stake in the São Paulo based Brazilian distributor Tecnomatiz – making it a globally operating distributor.
Real-world technical applications
At the trade show, ALBIS will showcase application examples drawn from practical use across sectors such as healthcare, mobility, E&E, building & construction, packaging, and sports & leisure sectors. The focus will be on solutions that demonstrate ALBIS’s technical expertise – often developed using material combinations from multiple partners. “Our customers benefit from our comprehensive offering, which we continuously expand – both in terms of products and local services,” says Horst Klink, CEO of ALBIS. “This enables them to access tailored solutions for a wide variety of challenges from a single source – supported by excellent market and industry know-how.” The technical service of ALBIS covers the entire product development process – from material selection and part design to processing and series production.
Focus on sustainability
Another key aspect of ALBIS’s presence at K Show is the focus on sustainability. With 75 sustainable product lines currently available, ALBIS is also one of the leading distributors in this area. At the show, the company will present various application examples – including a medical device for the treatment of sleep disorders, interior components for vehicles, developments in the leisure segment, and durable products for use in contact with food. “Sustainability remains a fundamental pillar of our corporate strategy,” says Horst Klink. “For us, this means continuing to expand access to innovative materials that meet both the ecological and functional requirements of modern applications.”
