communities. The judges said that Takiron's “Lumo Carbo” multiwall
sheet was exemplary in this context: used in facades, it acts as a thermal
insulator and saves energy. Its high transparency promotes the use of na-
tural sunlight inside buildings instead of artificial lighting.

Solvay Specialty Polymers hat dem Portfolio seiner
silanvernetzbaren, halogenfrei flammgeschützten
Cogegum® Compounds auf Polyolefinbasis (GFR
XLPO-HFFR) drei neue Typen hinzugefügt. Coge-
gum® GFR 903 ist ein Ummantelungsmaterial für
Spezialkabel in der Öl- und Gas- und Chemischen
Industrie gemäß den Anforderungen von NEK TS
606 und IEC 60092-360, wie sie beispielsweise für
Offshore-Installationen gelten. Cogegum® GFR
1401 ist ein Isoliermaterial, das auf die Anforderun-
gen der ISO 6722 und wichtiger Automobilstan-
dards ausgerichtet ist, wie der T3-Norm für Kabel im
Motorraum mit einer Wärmebeständigkeit bis
125°C. Cogegum® GFR 1301 ist ein Isolierungs-
/Ummantelungstyp für extrem beanspruchte Elek-
tro- und Elektronikkabel im Umfeld von Betriebs-
temperaturen zwischen -40 und +105 °C. Es bietet
eine Flammwidrigkeitseinstufung gemäß UL 1581
VW-1 und erfüllt auch UL 44 sowie UL 758.
